Exploring the idea of art as a form of therapy during pandemic inspired by the abstract expression movement of modern art. This project focused on deepening the understanding of emotion and practiced self awareness during the hard times of being locked in a small room with limited social contact. It translates and showcases the feelings and emotions of the subconscious mind associated with the lack of human touch and contact during the covid 19 pandemic and showcases the struggles and frustrations of one not being able to enjoy life outside meanwhile having limited sources of inspiration. It took a self reflecting approach and deepened the knowledge of the subconscious mind, as it allowed the individual to dive deeply into their mind to understand patterns and raise questions about the past and the future of the world. It questioned the definitions of the good and the bad as the day to day routine is being distracted and the productivity and motivation declines. It explores variety of different mediums and takes everything an individual can find in their home to create a series of paintings with.
